This ventilation system, built into
the shoe, is based on an air current circulating around the feet, the
flow being permanently renewed in the natural process of walking.
The air circulation system in
Allegro shoes is protected

Cool air enters
from the top of the shoe and through side vents.
This air then spreads around the feet and circulates inside thanks to
the way the floating Aérotiss® + Fontur® lining is assembled.
The blue arrows
in the above diagram represent this movement of cool air.
Warm air is expelled by a system of
channels, bored into the soles, and of exhalation valves. The hygienic
insole on which the foot rests is also perforated to enable air to go
from inside the shoe into the sole. As the front of the foot presses on
the ground, air is pushed towards the back of the shoe. A primary valve
then prevents any back flow.
Air that is stored in the heel of the
shoe is forced towards the outside by a second valve when the heel presses
on the ground.
The additional air remaining within the shoe is expelled through the side
vents.
The red arrows
in the above diagram show this movement of warm air.
The identical process is repeated with
every step you take, so your feet can breathe every step of the way.
